A Very Overdue Life Update ✨

Well… it’s been a minute 😬

My last post went live September 1st, and since then life has been doing what it does best... moving fast and keeping us on our toes!

September:

September was spent in the San Francisco area, and wow… what a place. Seeing the Golden Gate Bridge in person for the first time was one of those “okay, this is real life” moments. We checked Alcatraz off the bucket list, rode the iconic San Francisco trolley (yes, it really is all it’s cracked up to be), and had the best surprise when our friend Christal made her way out to the West Coast to visit.

Late September took us north into the Redwood Forest, and I don’t even know how to properly describe how magical that felt. I’ve never felt more like I accidentally wandered into a Pocahontas movie in my life; those trees are something else!

October:

October marked a big milestone; we officially crossed into Oregon. Our first campsite there had a jacuzzi on the site (yes… on the site), which immediately set the tone. The Pacific Northwest is absolutely stunning. The cliffs, the ocean views: there’s truly nothing like it.

By the end of October, though, it was back to work travel. First stop: St. Louis for our company’s annual bootcamp - packed with trainings, vendor meetings, and nonstop energy.

November: From there, it was a quick turnaround and a flight across the country to Fort Lauderdale to take advantage of some travel-agent cruise specials. I squeezed in two back-to-back cruises: A 5-night Disney cruise followed immediately by Royal Caribbean

First time sailing both brands, and while Disney is amazing for families (and yes, even for Disney adults), I learned that Royal Caribbean is much more my speed. And the best part? 11 nights total for $794. Major win. Loved spending a week with my mama onboard Disney and with some of the besties for a week on Royal 💕

The Plot Twist

Originally, the plan was to head north for winter and spend next summer in Montana and the central U.S.

But… after 11 nights in the warm Caribbean, returning to cold, wet, rainy 40-degree Oregon was not the vibe.

Henry and I had a very real CEO-level conversation and decided to make an executive decision: why be miserable when we control where we live?

So we did an about-face!

Three long days of driving later, we landed back in Southern California

December:

Thanksgiving was quiet and perfect—prime rib, relaxing, and slowing down a bit. But Sunday? Right back to the cruise port for a 7-day Seminar at Sea with Norwegian, sailing on the NCL Bliss (one of my all-time favorite ships). After four sailings on her, I finally rode the onboard go-karts....and yes, they were absolutely worth it.

Once I got home, Henry headed back east for a week to visit family, and as soon as he returned, I flew to Vegas for our company Christmas party. The next weekend my friend Christina and I went to Universal to celebrate Grinch-mas and what an expierence! So much fun!

Then… the holidays hit hard.

I got very sick over Christmas and ended up in the ER on Christmas Eve. Needless to say, the following week and a half was all about rest & hydration.

Ringing in 2026

We welcomed 2026 on our one-year anniversary; bittersweet not being back in Vegas.

By January 5th, I was back on a ship again; this time in a Sky Loft Suite on Royal Caribbean, which was an unreal experience (check out my Tik-Tok for a room tour!). Shortly after returning, we celebrated our company’s 10-year birthday here in LA, spending an amazing weekend with our Evo family.

And just like that… January is already wrapping up.

Next weekend we have our annual SoCal bootcamp here in Los Angeles, and we’ll be ringing in February on yet another ship.

Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it. This life we’ve created, on the road, on the water, and everywhere in between - continues to blow my mind.

Until next time, y’all. 💜✈️🚢
