🍇 August Adventures in Paso Robles

After the whirlwind of convention, landing in Paso Robles was exactly what I needed. The campground we’re at is surrounded by endless wineries (literally ubteen!) and the views from our site are just gorgeous. It’s one of those spots where you wake up and feel like you’re in the middle of a postcard.
One of the biggest highlights was having my bestie, Amy, come out for a long weekend visit! She had flown all the way from Connecticut to watch the babies for us during convention, but between everything going on I only got about six hours with her. Having her here for four nights felt like such a gift. We relaxed by the pool, soaked in the beautiful jacuzzi, and of course wandered over to the winery next door (stunning views + delicious wine = yes, please 🍷).
Meanwhile, Henry hopped on the Amtrak down to L.A. to spend the weekend with PJ, while we girls enjoyed some true chill time together.
No sooner had Amy left than another dear friend arrived — Christina from Vegas! After living in Vegas for seven months, we definitely miss our crew there, so it was so fun having her with us. We made the most of every moment, including a sidecar tour through Cass Winery. Rolling through the vineyards and sampling the grapes straight off the vine was such a unique experience.
We also visited Sensorio, which is honestly beyond words — over 100,000 lights spread across the fields, glowing and shifting as the sun set. Add in a glass of wine in hand and it was pure magic. ✨
Between friends visiting, wine tastings, and those quiet mornings at the campground, Paso Robles has been one of those stays that really filled my cup.
Over Labor Day weekend, we packed up the rig and made the five-hour drive north to Petaluma, just outside of San Francisco. The drive itself was gorgeous— vineyards and farmland the whole way—and felt like the perfect transition out of summer mode.
It’s hard to believe we’ve wrapped up another summer season on the road. Here’s to winter 2025. 🥂
