Hey Folks! We're Back!

January wrapped up strong over here! Henry managed to snag one of our travel agent deals for an 11-night Panama Canal cruise for a base rate of $54 per person (yes… you read that right). One of the many perks of being in this industry!

On the home front, our sweet little boy Tobe gave us a bit of a scare. He developed a small tumor on his tail and, on top of that, managed to hurt his back around the same time. It was a rough couple of weeks for the little guy and definitely stressful for me. Thankfully he’s been doing much better lately, and we’re continuing to keep a close eye on him while he heals up. Seeing him bounce back has been such a relief.

At the end of January I attended our SoCal Bootcamp for my travel agency, and it was such an incredible weekend. The schedule was jam-packed with vendor presentations, training sessions, and networking. But honestly, my favorite part is always just being surrounded by my Evo Fam. There’s something really special about getting everyone together in person after spending so much time working with each other online.

Right after bootcamp wrapped up, I jumped right back on a ship; this time with my best friend from back home, Amy. We spent an amazing week sailing down into Baja Mexico aboard the beautiful Quantum of the Seas. We saw whales right from our balcony, had a perfect beach day, explored the ports, and of course enjoyed plenty of ship time catching up and relaxing. It was one of those trips where everything just lines up perfectly.

Once Amy and I got back, Henry and I packed up again and hit the road out of the Los Angeles area, making our way to the beautiful Palm Springs desert. And this place is absolutely gorgeous this time of year. We’ve been enjoying sunny skies, warm days in the mid-70s to 80s, and those perfect desert evenings (while watching our friends and family back home freeze). The dogs are loving it too.

But as always, the wheels keep turning.

Next week we’re switching tracks again and heading back to one of our all-time favorite spots...Vegas! It’ll be our last stop before we start trekking east to spend some much-needed time with family.
