Adventures in the Rockies: From Central City to Breckenridge

Our latest trek through the mountains took us from Central City over to the picturesque town of Breckenridge. If you've ever wondered what it feels like to step into a Hallmark movie, Breckenridge is your answer! Nestled at an elevation of 9,500 feet, this charming town greeted us with perfect weather. It was a bit chilly at night when we first arrived, but it has since warmed up to a delightful temperature.

The RV resort we're staying at is just lovely, offering all the comforts we need after a day of exploring. Breckenridge itself is dotted with adorable shops and quaint mom-and-pop food spots. One of my absolute favorites was Crepes a la Carte. I couldn't resist indulging in their delicious crepes, ending up with three during our stay here—each one more delightful than the last!

Our time in Breckenridge was made even more special by a visit from one of my amazing best friends, Christal. We had an unforgettable weekend together! We explored the surrounding mountains, drove up the breathtaking Loveland Pass, which peaks at 11,995 feet, and discovered the whimsical Breckenridge Troll. To top it all off, we commemorated our adventures with some new tattoos.

While it was an adventure-filled week, it was also a work week for me. I had the pleasure to meet up with a small group of local agents. It was fantastic to chat and brainstorm new ideas to make our businesses better. There's something so invigorating about meeting co-workers in person, sharing insights, and inspiring each other to grow and improve. Henry embarked on another cruise with George, leaving me at home with the dogs, keeping the business afloat ;)

As we pack up and head to our next destination, we're setting our sights on the west side of Colorado, aiming for Grand Junction. It will be our last stop in this stunning state before we head south. Stay tuned for more updates and stories from the road!
