We made it to Vegas in July and have gotten nice and comfy here! From the moment we arrived, it's been a whirlwind of activity and excitement. Our friend PJ made the trip out from Los Angeles to visit us for a few days, and it was fantastic to catch up. He and Henry had a blast, and one of the days I stayed back to work, they decided to check out the Mandalay Bay pool. What started as a casual pool day turned into quite the adventure when they somehow found themselves sneaking into a private pool party! Let’s just say it was CRAZY!
A few weeks after we settled in, I attended our International Travel Convention with my company, and it was an incredible experience. The week was filled with energy, inspiration, and celebration. I was thrilled to collect my awards, but what made it truly special was watching my amazing co-workers—who have become family—achieve incredible milestones and celebrate personal successes. Convention week always leaves us feeling pumped up and ready to dive back into our businesses with renewed passion and enthusiasm!
After the convention, it was back to the grind. Time to double down and work towards those personal goals I've been setting for myself. I’ve been so focused that I even sent Henry on a cruise for a week, just so I could dedicate myself entirely to work and strategizing for what’s next!
However, amidst all the excitement, life threw a tough challenge our way. On August 21st, I faced one of the hardest days of my life. My beautiful, amazing, and loving baby girl crossed the rainbow bridge. Losing her was devastating, and I feel like I lost a piece of my soul that day. She was my partner in crime, my constant companion, and I will forever hold her in my heart. I find comfort in knowing she is in a better place now, free from pain, but I miss her terribly.
But, as life goes on, so must we. We've decided to stay in Vegas through the winter, and there are many exciting things on the horizon for the next few months—trips, weddings, and, most importantly, one very special wedding: ours! That’s right, we’ve decided to tie the knot here in Vegas on New Year’s Eve! It’s going to be an amazing celebration with our closest friends and family, and we can’t wait to share the moment with all of you.
